Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek
The 28thAnnual Pioneer Day celebrates Osceola County’s first residents and the pioneering spirit of the late 19th century. Step back in time at this annual festival hosted at the Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek in Kissimmee.
Pioneer Day is a free, family-friendly event featuring live music, a kids’ craft zone, a real Florida Market, and pioneer and Seminole life demonstrations. As visitors explore the Pioneer Village they will learn how Florida Seminoles and early pioneer families lived off the land long before electricity and air conditioning.
Schedule of Events:
- 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – MoonLight Dance Studio performs in the Kids Zone
- 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:45 p.m., 3 p.m. – Sandy Back Porch performs at the Train Depot
- 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. – Tour of village presented in Spanish
- 1 p.m. – ASL tour of village for deaf and hearing impaired
