Osceola History is seeking local artists who can demonstrate and sell their work as part of a new “Artist Saturday” series at the History Museum.
“We want to showcase a variety of artists demonstrating talents in the visual arts, musical arts or historic handcrafting,” said Executive Director Kimberly Murray.
Participating artists will be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on one Saturday a month for three months. The museum will provide demonstration space and publicity. Artists will be allowed to sell their work during the demonstration time. There is no charge to participate and the artists can keep proceeds from their sales.
The Osceola County Welcome Center & History Museum is located at 4155 W. Vine Street in Kissimmee and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission.
