Outdoor Games of the Early 1900s that You Can Play Today!

With the opening of our Totally Tots! Temporary Exhibit that runs through September 2 at the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum, we wanted to take a look at a few of the games that a child would have played on a lazy summer day in 1900 that you can play today.

Soldier City Chapter

With the help of the Narcoossee Area Chapter, the Osceola County Historical Society has been able to expand its reach in preserving the history of the Narcoossee area.  OCHS is now hoping to form the Soldier City Chapter to help preserve the history of St. Cloud, Florida and its surrounding areas.

Words of Pride: Living My History Recap

 It’s with great excitement that the Osceola County Historical Society was able to host the premiere of the Hispanic Oral History Series, Words of Pride: Living My History on April 25, 2018. This 6-person Oral History Project features Commissioner Peggy Choudhry, Maria Grulich, Bill Hansen, Lt Rafael “Ralph” Herrera, Commissioner Viviana Janer, and Hilda Perez.
